Marlies Taylor
Marlies Taylor is a seasoned beauty industry expert with over 25 years of experience as a licensed esthetician. She has held senior executive roles at Estée Lauder Companies and L’Oréal Groupe, along with leadership positions at numerous independent skincare brands. Her expertise in treatment and spa menu development has been sought after by some of the most prestigious skincare brands, spas, and wellness resorts across the U.S. She was personally awarded “Best Facial in San Francisco” by Allure magazine.
A San Francisco Bay Area native, Marlies is a proud mother of two amazing daughters. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Management from the University of San Francisco and previously built a successful career in luxury brand sales and marketing before co-founding Sonder with her eldest daughter. Her younger daughter, Jordyn, is also part of the Sonder team as a part-time receptionist.
Outside of the studio, Marlies is actively involved in her local schools and community, embracing the Bay Area’s rich culture, diversity, and unbeatable weather. In her free time, she loves spending time in Napa Valley as well as traveling with her partner, Dan.
Danielle Harbin
Danielle is a skin health expert with a passion for helping her clients achieve transformative results. A licensed esthetician for over 10 years, she received her training at the prestigious Cinta AVEDA Institute in San Francisco. Skincare runs in her blood—she grew up in the beauty industry, with a mother in beauty executive leadership and grandparents who owned salons in the San Francisco Bay Area for over four decades.
With experience in luxury hotel and resort spas and extensive post-graduate education, Danielle specializes in treating signs of aging, stubborn skin conditions, and acne using a holistic approach. She believes in blending the best of nature and science to create personalized, results-driven treatments.
Danielle and her husband, Tony, live in the East Bay with their beloved Rhodesian Ridgeback, Rhiley. They share a love for live music and traveling to new destinations.
