Marlies Taylor

Marlies is a beauty industry expert with over 25 years as a licensed Esthetician. She has held senior executive positions with companies such as Estee Lauder Companies and L’OREAL Groupe, as well as leadership roles with numerous independent skincare brands. 

Her treatment and spa menu development have been utilized by some of the most prestigious skincare brands, spas, and wellness resorts throughout the US.  She was personally awarded “Best Facial in San Francisco” by Allure magazine. 

Marlies is a San Francisco Bay Area native and mother of two amazing women. She is active in the local schools and community and feels this area offers everything from culture and diversity to outstanding weather. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Management from the University of San Francisco and has enjoyed a successful career in sales and marketing of luxury brands, before partnering with her older daughter to create Sonder. 


Marlies is also mother to another amazing daughter, Jordyn, who is our part-time receptionist.  In her free time she loves to travel with her partner, Dan.

Danielle Harbin

Danielle is a skin health expert, with a passion for helping her clients achieve amazing results. She has been an Esthetician for over 10 years and received her training at the prestigious Cinta AVEDA Institute in San Francisco. Danielle literally grew up in the beauty business, with a beauty executive mother and grandparents who owned salons in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 4 decades.


Danielle has worked in upscale hotel and resort spas and has had extensive post-graduate education. She specializes in treating signs of aging, stubborn skin conditions, or even acne by utilizing a holistic approach to achieve optimum results. Danielle believes in combining the best nature has to o­ffer, enhanced with science. 


Danielle and her husband, Tony, live in the East Bay with their beloved Rhodesian Ridgeback, Rhiley. They enjoy seeing live music and love to travel to new places.
