When we choose to work with a brand, we take everything into consideration, from their ingredient sourcing to product formulations, and the results they deliver. In addition, we choose to work with brands we can passionately get behind and fully support. We work with brands that share core values and a strict code of ethics.

Transparency

We love clean formulations, but let’s face it, clean is actually just the beginning. At the end of the day, you want your products to perform. We believe in eliminating the harmful chemicals in beauty products and we adhere to stringent requirements when vetting the products we carry.

Just because something is organic and has a clean ingredient deck, doesn’t mean that it will make lasting change in the skin. We will only work with products that we feel deliver real results.

Supporting business that are doing the right thing is something that we set out to do. The global beauty industry is a $430B industry (McKinsey, May 22, 2023). It’s a very competitive landscape with a lot of opportunity and wealth to be had. Not every company is ethical, honest, and a great place to work. We take the time to know every brand we work with, and some of them we have worked with for many years in multiple capacities.

We believe in the founders, their visions, and their values. We prefer outstanding companies who are conscious about waste and protecting our planet’s resources. In addition to this, it is very important to us that we work with companies who inspire and cherish their hardworking employees and ingredient suppliers. We basically refuse to work with those companies who do not align with what we believe.

The skin is your body’s largest organ. Not only does it provide our sense of touch, it regulates our body temperature and is our first line of defense to the outside world. Aside from this, the skin is also what we present to the world. It’s the first impression we make. It’s pretty remarkable.

Just like how we exercise to keep our hearts healthy or go to the dentist to make sure our oral health is in check, we must also care for skin. Taking care of our skin is extremely important for our health and should not be seen as a luxury just because it can also feel amazing.
